Lament of the Brahmaputra riverbank
The Brahmaputra River Basin is one of the largest river basins in the world, spanning India, China (Tibet), Bhutan, and Bangladesh. The river originates from the Angsi Glacier in the Tibetan Plateau, where it is called the Yarlung Tsangpo. It flows eastward through Tibet, then takes a southward turn into Arunachal Pradesh, India, as the Siang/Dihang River.
